triggers.
« on: February 19, 2012, 06:34:03 PM »
took the new rock river ar out for it's maiden voyage today and found that the trigger is terrible.  nmy other rock river trigger is amazing but this one is terribly heavy.  so i'm going to swap it out.  I'm curious what yall recommend for replacement.  I'm looking at the rock river varmint trigger set.  they claim it's 3-4 pounds.

What trigger are you working with? A standard RR or is it the NM version?
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

I just finished a build with a spikes enhanced trigger kit. Its the nicest single stage kit I have ever shot  The other one that is great and I am putting in my 6.5 build right now is the 2 stage rra  You can always get the jps reduced power springs takes most 8-9lb single stage triggers to around 5 lbs

AR Gold  forever
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

well I'm between the timney and the ar gold.  I think it will be the timney because they offer a military discount.  but then again the ar gold is make in my home town so idk.  we will see.  I would love to send it to someone to save some money but I am on a time crunch and need it done soon.
