Snake river steelhead
« on: February 23, 2012, 12:12:14 PM »
Anyone been fishing around lower granite lately? Planning on going on Sunday and was hoping for some suggestions. I am from Spokane so we can fish any stretch. Just wondering which area might be most productive from a boat. Thanks

There were 3 in the fish viewing room Tuesday.  It's been real windy to the point that there were not just whitecaps but rollers on the river.  Haven't heard of anyone catching anything recently (past 2-3 weeks) either above or below the dam.

Went out a couple of weeks ago with a Hunt Wa friend. Fished for three-four hours without a thing. Heard the fish ladders were closed so no new fish. Gave up and went back to the shop to get caught up.

Check the flows the river is BROWN!!!!!!!!! If the Clearwater, Ronde, and Salmon are all on the drop than the water should be clear but other wise I would hold off until the river clears up!
