New member, intro
« on: March 02, 2012, 12:35:05 PM »
Hell there everyone!  Just wanted to intro myself, I live just south of portland, outside the city.  I'm a relatively new archery hunter.  I've hunted two years, first year nothing, last year killed my first elk in Idaho, then four days later a nice 5x5 Rosie on the Oregon coast.  I'm hoping to hunt in washington this year, not sure where yet, but just looking around.  I'm happy to share any general knowledge about Oregon hunts, etc for anyone looking to hunt in areas I know this year.  I do a lot of backpacking, and salmon & steelhead fishing, pretty much anything outdoors, I'm up for it, rain or shine.
Best of luck to you all this year!

Welcome to the site, carefull though it's very addicting.  It's expensive for non residents to hunt here considering the quality compared to Idaho OTC hunts. I'd stick with Idaho myself, but good luck either way.
