Yes John, deer, elk and pork shoulder .. with real pig gut casing... We smoke some prior to freezing and canning, some we do not smoke. Good eats.

Did it tonight. Marinated deer meat in Italian salad dressing overnight. Got some baby spuds and cooked them a bit in a pot of water to get them just a tad soft. Put meat,spuds, mushrooms, bacon and peppers on sticks. Brushed all with olive oil just before placing on the grill. Pretty good for a first time!
