Colockum late rifle quality tag
« on: May 31, 2012, 12:52:00 PM »
Anybody who put in for hunt #2018...have you noticed they posted an "error" to the regs and increased the tags from 5 to 7...your odds just went up slightly.

You're right coach, the rifle rut permits are awesome.  The Colockum is always my 1st choice.

I don't think its a quality permit. If its not during the rut its not a quality tag. The only reason its "quality" is because of where its at. You will be hunting with the sea of Orange way after the rut. Not my idea of quality if you ask me. Save your quality points for a quality hunt during the rut without a general season.  :twocents:

my point clock. to be able to hunt in the rut would be well worth it , even the archery tag would be good but during the general season its not a quality tag , not with that many guys in the woods .

Archery season is not that good in the Colockum.  I seriously recommend going to other spots in the state!
