worms in your bears?

Have you ever jhad this problem I havent hunted bear much because of this the last bear I killed had worm all over in it. in the meat,under the hide every where didnt eat any of the meat was such a waste I dont hunt them because of it. Is this common?

i got a uncle used to guide bear here, then recently just quite in idaho. he couldnt remeber ever seeing a bear that had worms, he had guided over 500bears and finally stoped counting and that was in the 80s

yeah this bear was really old squared out at 6'8" but he only weight 280 had rotting teeth bad. 1/8th of an inch from b&C. I have a half mount heres a picture.

I have shot several caribou that have had worms in them, they were in the blood vesicles and the meat and in the guts and just everywhere, it was disgusting, we just took them to the garbage dump and burned them, pretty sure they were a form of blow fly larvae YUK !!! maybe it is the same sort of stuff ??

When I killed the bear I called the health dept and said it was trichinosis. The worm were in everything just like your caribou.here is what wikipedia says

That is different then what I saw, the larvae in the caribou were about the size of your thumb above the joint and when we started taking the skin off they just poured out and it was pretty disgusting. We also had a deer one time that had this spaghetti like worm in its tissue, they were almost transparent and lengths from 2 to 6 inches long and that was pretty gross too but we contacted the health dept and they said they were harmless to humans so we ate it (of coarse we didn't tell the wife or kids about it !!  )

man...that would be foul to see...all those worms..

not much bothers me...spiders, heights, etc...

but parasitic *censored*e freaks me out...ticks, worms, lice..etc...shiver...

Can you still keep the hide if it has worms?? EFF no i wouldn't eat the meat if worms were crawling, I don't care what the health department says.

My buddies bear from a few years ago was full of worms. They were everywhere - under the hide, in the guts, in the meat.
