I've got $100 that says that it's killed in December, in the Entiat, and scores between 180 and 200", depending on who is holding the "raculator"  :chuckle:

Heard a guy saw a deer he wanted last year that was a migratory deer. He asked a friend how he could kill it and the friend told him probably the only way was if he bought the gov tag. I think he's just a normal guy. Who happens to have a ton more cash than us. I'm pretty sure it went 22500 but don't quote me on that. I knew but the auction was in feb and I forgot.

I guess I am not the only one who thinks that the only governor's tag is the one for mule deer!   :chuckle:

BTW Phool, you still owe me $100 from last year.... :chuckle:

Double D might be safe this year. If he's not, competition will be stiff.

You make a great point and i apologize. I should have explained. If I spent a bunch of money on a bull tag I would be hunting the easier to hike country. Like the dayton unit. Yes there's some steep stuff but its an easier hike and hunt than let's say the watershed. Lots of places in the blues hold great bulls. But if you had the tag and could hunt any of those units (I think the watershed is closed to the govenor tag until the regular season but I apologize if im wrong) would you be hunting big bulls in the steep country or easier to hike stuff? If I had the money i know where id be.

Nothing personal but if I had a gov tag or raffle tag as good as the bulls might be in the watershed there are other units that hold recorded bigger bulls.. And double d is a drop tine bull that is huge that if it is a smart bull will stay right where he is.. I believe he is smart..LOL

Yep, ole Double D escaped last year because he broke one of his mains in half.

Maverick, no worries. I have heard stories of some of the previous auction tag hunts and can see where you could draw that conclusion. I can assure you Kevin put his field time in and hiked his ass off last year, he was out before light and back after dark every day, and was not road hunting. ;)

Hunt he sounds like a stand up guy then!

Now I have to ask, how the Hell does a giant bull snap a main beam in half?!!! Didn't anyone find his sheds or his broke off beam? Anyone got a pic of that monster. no need to say where hes at. Id rather not know! It's the guys that watch and get to know the bull that deserve him!

:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:  Colockumelk just set the fire from his black helicopter so he could have the fire take care of the troublesome timber and old growth.  Now that it's being burnt out by fire it will make room for new growth and produce better feed and turn his 400" plus bulls into 500" plus monster trophy bruiser bulls!!! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Sometimes I'm the man but in this case I'm just a giant liar. I would never pass on that bull!! The bull in my avatar was last years bull.
Last year: I had decided that I owe it to myself to go battle it out with team mossback, their 9 guides and trespassing teal to go after DT and the bull that rafflemule got. HOWEVER... that plan was to be put into effect on 9/12, the events the evening of 9/11 changed my plan. I didn't have a tag on 9/12...at least not an unused one :chuckle: :chuckle:

The gov tag for east, raffle tag for east, not sure about the incentive but think it is the same . all tags are good from sept. 1 to dec 31 any eastside gmu that is open to elk hunting.. So he cant basically hunt everywhere except hanford and the reservations if I am not wrong for 4 months..

I dont dont think he can go into watershed until its open for everyone. Cause bow muzzle and rifle all hunt in there during modern firearm. Why would govnor be different?

That could be I am not clear on that one . But it does state any gmu that is open to elk. I guess I would need to call for a interpetation on that one.

It states in the regulations on page 83 all gmus except 157 for the raffle tag and I assume the auction tag is the same.
