I am pretty certain you are severely underspined  with 50/75's at 31" and 75lbs. I'd be willing to bet your actually pretty close to flirting with disaster.

I agree with B. Nubbs.  I have been trying to ignore these threads, but Oh My!  It's time to get this nipped in the bud.  KC - I'm sending you a PM with my cell number.  Give me a call and we can get you on the right track in just a few minutes over the phone.

Hoyt77 - try and give us as much information about your bow and your arrow as you can.  I can not give you any educated advise unless we have all the details like draw weight, draw length, arrow length, spine, brand and model, size and brand of fletching, etc, etc, etc...  The more input the more accuracy of responses can be.

Perfect   Some variables with arrow length, inserts and fletching.  But all should fall into the optimal catagory with that set-up.  Well done.

Spline is the strength of your arrow!! It has to do with the density and thickness of the arrows sidewalls!. At a 31" draw you should be shooting 75# -95# or a 300 spline carbon arrow.
Also to the main post! At a 29" draw you should used a 340 spline or a 300 spline. Either will work just fine but if you want less arrow bend go with the 300. Also with a 70# draw I would recomend at least a 100gr broadhead. My draw is 30in and I use easton epic 300 and 125gr muzzy three blade broadheads and they shoot just like my field tips(Practice tips). Everything is up to your own preference but spline is crutial! Good luck, practice a lot and have fun!
