SOLD SOLD SOLDAuction #36 A fine bottle of Scotch

From Spuddieselwwu:
Bottle: 1989 Bowmore 16 year old, Cask Strength, Islay Single Malt Whisky Distillery
Not available in stores in the United States unless resold from auction. This limited run retails at auction between $150-300/bottle.
Info from Whiskey Guide:
Only 134 carefully selected, predominantly bourbon casks were brought together to make this limited edition. It is non chill filtered at natural cask strength. Beautiful rich golden color. The nose is filled with dried fruits, toasted almonds, caramel with all come together with that Bowmore campfire smokiness. Lovely elegance on the palate with a good balance of fruitiness and peat. The finish is smooth like a soft breeze blowing over the waters of Loch Indaal. A stunning malt! 51.8% ABV (Susan Purnell, K & L Spirit Buyer) 4 Stars - Paul Pacault--Spirit Journal
Bidding will start today at 4:00 and run till Thursday 5/9/13 at 4pm. Money from the winner will go to Boneaddict via paypal massivemuleys@aol.com or you can pm him for a mailing address to send a check to.
Happy bidding and don't drink it all in one place!!
Bottoms up!!

Holy crap! This booze is out of my league. A bottle like that would be great to save for a special occasion. Crack it open right after you've shot a trophy elk or a hawg buck in the snow. Or just after you've finish a grand slam. Head back to camp with a big grin on your face. Then break open the holy grail of whiskey jugs, and share it with you hunting partners! Good luck, gentlemen!

If you should fail to remember who that may be, I'd be more than happy to help you consume it.

I'm surprised he's not bidding yet ! He gave me some good info once upon a time and I bought a $150.00 dollar bottle of pine sol , then along came a buddy and talked me out of if before I got it shipped . I haven't forgot though and there will be a day when I make it happen . 6x6x6 I
'd rather have a long island any day but I'd buy you one brother .
