Disappointed
« on: August 13, 2007, 11:34:47 AM »
Saturday I went to check on a spot I scouted in June.  I saw a rubbing trail and was really excited.  This trail is close to the road.  It's about 40 - 60 yards away.  I was checking things out in the area and saw a pile of deer hairs/furs.  It looks to be just a few weeks old.   :bash:  There are still tracks everywhere, but what is the chance of that buck being knock down?  I wish I had a trail cam to see if it'll caught who did it. With only 18 days left, will this spook other deers to this spot?

yajsab, Did you get back to hunt this spot?
How did you do, did you ever get any trail cam pictures? Sounds like the Midnight Poacher (MEOW!) may have beat you to the punch. :(
