Another fun weekend of scouting.  Did a lot of hiking and I will tell you that is some steep country.  Got some more pictures but most of them didn't turn out that good.  I ordered a scope cam adapter a week ago but didn't get it in time for this trip so future pictures should be better.

The lowest ram in the first picture looks good.  Have fun scouting and learning sheep.  That's most of the adventure.

I'm so jealous! I don't know how you sleep!  :dunno: I would be over there every weekend scouring the country for that one that takes your breath away. A few of those rams look like some likely candidates. Enjoy every sweaty step of the scouting and take in every second of that hunt. Keep sharing pics; I enjoy seeing what you have found so far. Someday!!!

Looks like the Black Sheep of the family.  Better take him out! :o

For sure - and he's a gorgeous chocolate too, my favorite coat color in the Swakane rams.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Of all the units, this is the one that conjures up rumors, lies, and stories.  Lots of guys tell me the "big" one is still in there and that world records roam in there.  Start believing this from someone not possessing a picture would be a mistake.  But it's the fun of the unit.  Rams like that can't hide for years and evade our scrutiny.  That being said, there are great rams in there and if you work at it, you will have a chance at a ram that will make the top 10 of all cali rams shot in WA.

That chocolate one is a dandy.  It will be easy for you to spot him again.  Keep us posted, great pics.  Did Brad ever get ahold of you?

Another fun weekend of scouting!  Never seen any big rams but was able to get in a lot of hiking and got a few pictures of some smaller rams.  The pictures turned out a little bit hazy because of smoke from Chelan fire.  It was a nice bonus to pick up a set of deer sheds.  I have been trying to post pictures but for some reason it won't post them.
