Smoke pole value?
« on: September 29, 2020, 04:08:16 AM »
Need little help from the pros.....Iíve not touched a muzzle loader in a real long time. I have an older cabelas gun that was always fun. My father in law passed away about 8 years ago and my mom in-law is unloading a couple guns of his. He has knight bighorn black synthetic stock with thumb hole, blued barrel, in 50 cal
I was thinking of buying it from her and we are trying To figure out a value of it. Itís been shot maybe 5 times and is about 10 years old?

Thanks folks!

those prices are about right.

I would pull the breech plug and check the bore before a purchase.  Cleaning after use is critical on a muzzy.

the sale was on 52 caliber.  I think the 50 may also have been, but they sold out fast.  These were also stainless, which I think is valuable for a muzzy.
