Unless they have changed the suspension on the 500, mine was ruff riding which is why I went to the yamaha, plus I wanted more power. 10 year belt warranty on the yamaha.

I have the Kawasaki Mule for work around the farm and I use it everyday from spring through fall and it's really handy. My son has the Yamaha Wolverine and it's comfortable to ride in and has been really reliable in the woods.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I have been hunting for a good deal on a Kawasaki Mule for a few years. Those that have them, work them. There are lots of them near me here in Oklahoma. You rarely see them used for sale, and when you do they go fast.

:yeah:  Nobody listens but I tell all that the Kawa is the toughest build utv bar none.  Many good ones but Kawa are just reliable and strong.  Not fancy, not fast, not smoothest etc.  Mule, Teryx, KRX, Brute, Prairie.  All are very well built.  Look at details like size of suspension arms, axles, frame, metal instead of plastics.  When ya dig deep its clear.  Check weights and ya will see it is often heavy compare to competition.  People dont seem to know that Kawasaki is a massive Co. much larger then the other powersports.  They deal in commercial and heavy machinery uses and equipment which transfers tech and parts to other industry.  How many commercial mowers or equip use Kawa engines and how many are using Polaris for example??
MAGA!  Again..

Looking to get my wife a UTV, not a sport sxs just a utility one, 2 person, dump bed or non. Seems to be a range of price between what is avail and seeing if the lower cost ones are worth it or i just bite the bullet and buy one from Kubota that will last forever?
Note: she has a quad but it’s not the best for her.
Don’t want a golf cart or an electric whatever.

Kawasaki Mules are very popular on the farms here in OK.
Finding a used one is a bit hard. They seem like I be held on the to once they get one.

We have a Kymco UXV. Dump bed, winch. It has been a workhorse and we have been happy with it. Well, until we brought it out to the salt air.
Same with the rest of our equipment. Everything is rusting into the ground. It is a constant loosing (eventually) battle.

Get some chainsaw bar oil in a sprayer and treat the undercarriage a couple times a year.
