With the draws coming out today I realized I forgot to update this thread after my hunt. Shortly after the hunt I did update the past tag holders who helped me so huge shoutout to Falcon, CamoDup, Deserhunter2016 and it was great meeting Devinshoe out in the unit during the hunt (he also got a great bull and can post it here if he wants). I did 3 scouting trips, one in August, one in September and one in October. Got a bunch of different bulls on trail cams in that time and one cam in particular I think had 7 or 8 different bulls on it. The hunt was super socked in and foggy the first 5 days and literally couldn't see 20 yards but on day 6 it cleared up a little bit and I shot a nice, old bull that measures just under 46" wide. It was an amazing experience having this tag and if any future draw winners want to talk moose hunting or need some advice on this unit send me a PM anytime!!! I would be more than happy to share any and all the knowledge I gained about hunting moose in this unit.

I also got the early Huckleberry moose tag. Looking for any help or info I can get. 69 years old so it could be a tough one for me. What a way to go huh.

Congrats to the moose hunters, you are gonna love it, might have to work a bit to find them, but moose hunting is just a blast.  Hold out for the one you want, itchy triggers come easy w big moose w small head gear.  Scout to get to know the roads, you prob won’t see many bulls in the early scouting season, beat you can do is learn the roads, and get some cameras out.  The rut can be crazy fun!! Congrats!
