Need a good chest holster
« on: February 23, 2024, 07:31:04 AM »
I've neglected packing sometimes when working on my property.  Need something secure, comfortable, and doesn't hamper activity with hand tools, chainsaws, etc.  Looking at the Kenai or Denali for my N-frame S&W.  Anyone using these or other recommendations?

I’ve currently have a gunfighters inc for my 329pd. It’s so tight it’s a pain to draw unless you have the straps sucked down tighter than I would like for all day comfort. I’ve been thinking of ordering one of these and trying it. https://invaderconcepts.com/collections/chest-holsters
You gonna draw those pistols or whistle Dixie?

I went over every option and went with this. Recon kit bag medium size. Fits my revolver or my Sig M18 with 21 round mag and sight. I like it because I have one that fits multiple guns plus extra magazines or my phone

I got a chest rig for my Glock 10mm from Windhill Holsters out of La Grande.  Very similar to the Kenai, but also supporting a more local business.  Win Win.

One thing about the gunfighter is the gins not going to fall out. It is tough to unholster the firearm

They must be popular.  6 - 8 weeks out the way I ordered it.  Might not have it for my first spring trip.  I can deal with that.

Another vote for Diamond D. I use them for my G20 and 460V.  Love em. Had plastic before and just too noisy to draw from.

I run a gunslinger bingo harness. I carry a judge revolver in it. But I don’t think they are making them any longer. Wish I could find another one for my grandson.

Don't have one ( yet ) . I'm using a Gunfighters Inc Kenai with my 10mm 1911 . Saw a guy on TikTok with a Venandi and looked into them . Seems like the perfect combo for Hunting season when you need binos and backup pistol . Only really use the Kenai when mushroom , berry picking .

Paradise Valley Leather out of MT. I have their chest holster for my SW 327 TRR8. I have it set up to to allow room to still wear my bino chest rig.
