Any Bull tag drawn 2024
« on: August 16, 2024, 02:07:43 PM »
Hey Hunters im new to this site, i got drawn for Any Bull tag for units 336,346 (peaches ridge). Been hunting all my life so im not a rookie hunter LOL just havent had alot of chances at an elk living in washington. Would love some input on some good spots within those units. I have Onx hunting map and maybe someone could share some pins on where to focus. Thanks

Hell of a first post and I would say a little late to the game to come on here and ask for spots. There is a lot of elk to be had in both units. Best of luck to you

Pick a spot on the map in the unit. Drive to spot. Bugle from road. Locate bull location from his reply. Hike toward location. Call again. Shoot bull. Pack back to road. It’s simple

Yep. Follow little naches river all the way to the headwaters. Look at your gps. Find tr2000/PCT and hunt the border or 653 amd 346. All good stuff in there.  Please let me know how it looks as I haven't been in there for 5 or 6 years.

Check out rock creek or little naches rd if you want easily accessible areas.

@Snipersmith it would be great if you came back and at least gave an update even it the update is you ate the tag. It’s super frustrating when someone joins the forum, asks for help in their first post and then never replies back.

Sniper smith had put in as a partnership for the 2 tags..right before season he suffered a detached retina and needed emergency surgery..Thats left the remaining hunter to decide if he would go alone..I know this man and is a stand up guy..he was successful after putting in scouting trips and was familiar with the area..he’s not a spring chicken but considering his age (70 ish) he got er done..a decent 6x6..he was proficient in cow calling and killed the herd bull….he did the tag justice..he is not a member on here and know people were wanting to know…there is a few members on here
That if he could he would want to thank..you know who you are..thank you for making an ole timers dream come true!!!!!!
