Mini 14 / scope?
« on: March 12, 2025, 08:44:33 PM »
Anyone ever run a scope on a mini 14?
Was thinking of mounting a Leoupold 2x7 on my mini and was wondering if there would be a problem with empties hitting the scope.
This thing really slings the empties, sometimes like 15 to 20 feet.

Accuracy international can put a pic rail on it for you
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I have 2 minis (30,14) both with Leupold 1-6x20 scopes and have zero issues with them.

I don’t know what accessories are available for mini’s, but I bought an Ultimak picatinny fore arm for my M1 carbine and mounted a red dot. No mods necessary and works great.

If its a Ranch rifle, no problem as long as you keep the objective around 32-34 mm with factory rings.

The rail from Midway looks pretty good. I might try it.

Thanks
