Nice work! It was a tough year in there without the snow. Searched high and low day after day. Plenty of deer around but just couldn’t find that next level buck. I ended up shooting a decent one towards the end, actually was the biggest buck I found all season.

Did you have a rifle tag or one of the auction / governors tags?  We met a raffle tag guy in there when we were up there archery hunting......curious how he ended up doing.  Real nice guy.

I had a rifle tag, killed my buck on the 18th. How’d the archery season go?

Seeing and shooting them in the archery season is two different things.  We saw some decent bucks (nothing super huge) and I ended up killing a super old regressed buck.  I’m gonna get his teeth aged but am guessing he is 8+ years old.  Had to be pushing 300lbs on the hoof…..biggest bodied deer I have ever killed.
