how much faster is a drop away vs. a whisker b.

ive seen these lil clip things that hold your arrow on a fall away rest, and when you pull back it releases it. so you get the same advantage as a wisker b

I have killed 6 animals with a whisker bisquit and had two Robin Hoods. All I can say is they work and i have NEVER had my arrow fall of my rest. Can the fall away shooters say the same? I know my Friend would have shot a nice bear this year if he had a Whisker Bisquit. His arrow fell out of his fall away.

I have shot both. Currently I have a drop away on my bow, the spot hogg whammy. It is always in the up position until you pull the trigger on your release. No problems with keeping the arrow contained unlike other drop aways where you have to worry about the arrow falling off the rest while you draw. That being said I like whisker biscuits, it did what it was supposed to do. Great hunting rest.

When the whisker bisquet was still marketed by Carolina Archery the package use to tell you right on the back to expect a 7 to 10 FPS loss.  Now that Trophy Taker is marketing them they don't give you that info.

I think Trophy Ridge is making them now not Trophy Taker but i could be wrong.

i personally believe that you would see a slight loss in speed through a whisker biscuit, simply because the fletching have to go through all of that stuff.  dont shoot one personally, think that they are way to loud.  i have never had trouble keeping my arrows in my drop away, just have to draw it back nice and smooth just like you should be doing anyhow.

I have shot a WB for the last 9 years. I have harvested 13 animals with it.  I love them easy to use when you are stalking through the woods. I am thinking of trying the Rip Cord drop away rest this year. It looks like the arrow wont fall out with the thing that sits over the top of the rest. Has anyone tried this rest? And what do you think of it?

This s the one I  use for hunting, thing is great. The grey clip has a magnet in it so when you draw back it falls back out of the way. flip it forward and slip your arrow in and it stays put holding the arrow even up side down. Its quite and micro adjust.
