Lazy Susan for Gun Safe - Pendleton Safes
« on: March 21, 2011, 03:05:48 PM »
I am just curious why in the couple of years I have been looking on this hunting forum and others that this brand has not come up before.

I have been thinking that when I make the new plunge into a gun safe that I would like to get a lazy susan put in one.  Check this set up out.  I have no idea what it costs, so that part is irrelevant at this point, and it appears the nearest dealer is in Wyoming.  But I wanted to share, because I was intrigued by the lazy susan.  For those interested, read their fire rating..... It is rather entertaining.

Just looking at the weights of those safes, they're fireproofing can't be nearly as robust as other brands like Graffunder.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

read the link on the - busting the myth of fire ratings..... It doesn't appear that they intend to fire rate a steel safe.

Those look pretty nice and their rating to pay 50k towards any losses due to a fire sounds pretty good but I saw the pricetag and choked...$6500 They do look real nice though.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

where did you find the price tag?  I couldn't find it, and assumed that I missed it somewhere.

I googled the safe and then hit "shopping".

Maybe a little off topic but I just got one of these for my safe:

http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/search_catalog_command.cmd?fromProductSearch=true&item1=IK-229856

it really freed up a lot of space on the shelves.

Only problem is now I need some more guns!  :)

There is another article online about a guy that built one for his safe.   The concept would be the same.  I wasn't able to find the article I came across yesterday, but here is an option of interest.

http://www.gun-racks.com/all_rotary_gun_racks

It appears to be helpful.  If you already had a big gun safe, you could either leave the upper shelves in for storage or build an upper rotary for pistols.

Not a chance!

And yes, MP123, I'm ready for some sort of pistola storage hanging on the door.
