Idaho Thanksgiving 2011
« on: November 27, 2011, 07:17:12 AM »
Had a good couple day's hunting until we had to cut the trip short due to a family emergancy.

The first two pictures are of the 2 bucks I got over there the last is a group photo of all our bucks. Mine are the last two on the right.

Curious how the rut was for you. We were in Pierce for two weeks. The temp got cold the first week and we got a couple nice bucks. Then things warmed up and it just shut down. I set a camera up on a scrape in the brush and got 177 pics in two days. ALL at night! Looks like your group did well.

They were rutting hard. Most of the does had a buck chasing them. My second buck had actually  just got done breeding a doe when I shot him.

Way to top off the season looks like it might have been a little cold for a wet side boy.
