Interesting. What's next, a leather rifle sling by J Crew?  :chuckle:

I'm in the market for a pack frame myself. I wonder if this is meant more for gear or for quarters--or both..

Based off the review looks like it work great either way. I am going to buy the horn hunter meat sack  for it for packing meat and just use dry bags for storage.

Found a great thread on this pack on 24hourcampfire.com

http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/5532999/all/LL_Bean_Hunter_s_Carry_All_pac

I guy packed 140lbs of moose meat with it only had to go 200 yards on each trip but it workd and did show any sings of braking.

Just got my pack yesterday and carried around my 50 pound daughter for 15 minutes she loved it seemed to do a good job for having a 4 year old in it lol. Looks like is is going to work great and you cannot beat the price at 79 shipped to your door.

How are you liking the pack?  It looks like a nice pack, especially considering the price.  I'm considering ordering one, but have heard the waist belt may not get small enough (31").  Can anyone comment on how small the belt gets?  Thanks.

I have a 40" waist so it fits me fine. I have seen some people say that but saw another that said he had a 30 inch waist and it worked for him???  Haven't hiked with it yet but I love the look of the pack should work for meat hauling or just hunting

That's pretty much the only thing holding me back from buying one. Hoping to find out it adjusts small enough.

The belt is removable I have seen some people use other belts on this back. the ll bean website says

The Hunter’s Carry All Pack has an adjustable waist belt of 33”-60”.

I went ahead and ordered one. If the belt isn't tight enough I'll figure out a replacement or fix for it.
