2013 Head Competition
Rules:
1. Cougar and Bear legally harvested during any open season in Washington from April 15 2013 to March 30, 2014 may be entered
2. Washington Hunting License & Tags: A current WDFW hunting license and appropriate tag is required
3. Membership: Hunters entering the contest must be forum members prior to the start of the season in which the animal was harvested
4. Entries: The hunter must submit a story of the hunt, picture of the animal, and claimed score on hunting-washington.com
5. Scoring System: The official B & C or P & Y scoring system will be used.
6. Winner Determination: The score that compares highest in percentage to the state record for that species and weapon wins. For example, a modern firearm black bear will be compared to the state record modern firearm black bear and an archery cougar will be compared to the state record archery cougar. There are three recognized weapon categories; modern firearm, muzzleloader, and archery. Washington Big Game Records will be used as the state records.
7. Prizes: A perpetual (traveling) trophy will be awarded to the winner to keep for 11-1/2 months. Hopefully we can get a few gifts of nominal value donated by some of our sponsors.
8. Judge Discretion: Judges may challenge any entry. Judges may require the top entries to get an official score.

Nice bear Stew. I'm thinking of having my skull done like that. Your daughter looks pretty enthused about the prospect of sitting on a bear rug!

Eli everyone I sent that pic to thought she was roaring with the bear. When it was actually a yawn before nap time.

Dan,
I've still got the original box that you shipped the plaque in so just let me know when you're ready to get it shipped back. It's looked good on my wall for a year so it's time to roll it over. Thanks, Eli.
