No phoolishness here, just big bucks
« on: November 05, 2013, 08:45:13 PM »
The ruts on in south eastern Oregon, so I thought you might like to see a few pictures of what we have going on down here.  I haven't been on the site here for awhile but as soon as the rut slows down, I'll try to post some more pictures. Here's a few of the bucks we have been seeing.  There are different bucks showing up or passing through every day.  Hope you enjoy.

Great pictures.  Thanks for sharing.
The buck that has the broken tine & eye guard appears to have injured his knee also  :dunno:
Some very nice bucks for sure.

This is the same buck from last year, he has always had an injury on that side.  I'm not sure but in 2012, it looks like an injury caused him not to use that leg much or something maybe causing his hoof to grow so long,  I'm not sure if that is the reason or not.  I'm heading back down in the morning to take more pictures won't be back for a week or so to most more pictures.  Hoping to get that picture of that one monster buck.

Shot a buck like the one with the bad knee in 2011. Bullet is what caused my bucks grapefruit sized knee. He definitely wasn't doing so well though. Could barely hobble around.
