Old Dog, are you expecting all the pups to be black? I see lots of yellow in Misty's pedigree but really not much on Taz's side. Working on promoting this breeding for you but need a bit more info
. Thanks.

Good catch.
I meant to add PM me for more info
Taz does have yellow in his pedigree, so I expect a mix of yellow and black puppies. I plan to take deposits based on color and sex, with the understanding that nature has the final say on what is ultimately available.
Labs typically have between 7 and 10 puppies, so I really don't know where I should cap deposits.
I'll see what the response is like before I worry about that too much.
I am offering a 26 month health guarantee on hips, elbow, and eyes. As you know I am not a big kennel, so I can't guarantee a replacement, but if the dog doesn't pass it's OFA or Cerf screening I will refund half the purchase price with proof from CERF or the OFA. All pups will have their dew claws removed, wormed, and have their first shots. I use Dr. Roy Wright at Portland Ave. Small Animal Clinic in Tacoma.
Anything else you can think of?
Thanks for the help David.

Misty has whelped. A very surprisingly small litter.
2 males, 2 females. Pending confirmation, one of the females is taken.

Another update.
Misty waited a full day, and then had a couple more pups.
She has added a black female and another yellow male to the litter. I will post an updated picture later this evening.

All in all there are four pups. The pups went in to have their dew claws removed, and a check up. Misty was also in for a check up, and she and the pups are all doing fine.
The next vet visit will be for their first shots at 7 weeks. They will be ready for their new homes at 8 weeks. there are 3 yellow males available.

Good looking pups! I wish I was in the market for a pup right now, but we have our hands full with a one year old. Maybe, I will be in the market in about a year, so let me know if you are planning on having another litter in the future.

Four weeks old, and we have begun the weaning process. They are really beginning to show their individual personalities.
Next up is their micro chips.
Still two males left at $800 each.
