That is just about right.
I have one question for these vegans. If things go to chit, in the world, and we are out scrounging for our own food, are you going to be in the fields grazing with the cattle, as I am shooting one of them for food?

They would say we are a civilized society Huntbear and that we no longer need to eat meat anymore as we can sustain ourselves without hurting poor innocent animals...

Not all vegans/vegitarians are anti kill animals... my brother for example helps and eggs on shootin stuff or finding things to shoot, provides fish/weather reports for hike in lakes. Just doesn't want to eat meat anymore.

I've met a few people who just can't stand the concept of eating flesh. A few others who, while rare, do better according to their nutritional type to not eat meat.
I would go to a support group to help such people... more meat around for me!

I have found that to be true.
I have several vegan friends. One tells me if she were to eat meat, it would only be wild game (quality of the animals life, organic, etc). Several others do it for medical reasons. One comes along with us on hunts.
That picture is hysterical though! love it and have already sent it to friends.

Vegan life would/could never work for me, I have never had a "craving" for asparagus, broccoli, parsnips or any veggie for that matter.
Last night I had a distinct craving for BBQ ribeye steak and mushrooms, to satisfy the PC crowd I through in a small salad....with bacon bits, lol
Sorry Vegan's Tofu is not food, not matter what shape you make it.

You can count my wife in that group - though a near-vegan, vegetarian due to dietary restrictions (animal protein cramps her terribly), she has killed three bucks to provide meat to her grandparents.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.
