I in no way agree with his political views or actions as I stated
I did not post this to stir the pot or step on toes
I would completely agree with the comment that he was a good man gone bad

However this is one Marine who will not be visiting his grave with a "full bladder"

I am not surprised by knowledge of this sites members of Murtha's failures as a politician I was only trying to bring to light his accomplishments as a Marine.  There was a part of John Murtha that was a good man.  He went to another country to fight for our freedom and no one can ever take that away from him.  God has a hard-on for Marines and he will be judged accordingly

Really?? I have nothing to say but, shame on you. How can you stick up for a man that has given up on so many of your brothers? John Murtha the good Marine died in 1969. He has been judged indeed.

Danceswitharrows, no, no I can't say you are wrong to defend him. It is your right and others rights to do so BECAUSE he did fight so we could exercise our 1st amendment and you are entitled to your opinion. Thank you for you input and thank you to all those that served our great country.

The good does not excuse the bad.  There is good and bad in all of us.  I'll not badmouth the Marine Corps.  However, I am glad this POS is done hurting the US of A.
