Thought I would share a bit of my current tcam set up and a couple pics of a good sized boar.
Two weeks ago I noticed the bears were hitting the grass in a small spot again and one week ago I put out 3 cameras about 40 yards apart. There are at least two bears feeding on the grass in this area. Two weeks ago we found at least a dozen piles of crap. Last week I only found one pile, but it was decent sized.

Last year I put up one cam here and got pics of two different bears from position #1. I am pretty sure that the bear I got on camera this year is the same one I got last year following a sow. I am basing this on the facial scaring, size and location.

Most of the sign indicates that the bears feed on this patch of grass in a circular pattern so I tried to set up in a way that would catch them from multiple angles. Two cameras are nearly facing each other (#1 & #3) and one (#2) is facing out towards the convergence of two trails that lead into the main feeding area.
I went back this morning after letting the cams sit for a week and found only one new pile of bear crap in the feeding area and one pile on a nearby trail. This pile was the same size as the one from the week before.

On the way to check camera 1 I could see that camera 3 was knocked off kilter. Camera 1 had a few pics of the bear moving from right to left with one three shot burst that seem to have caught him catching my scent from camera 3.

Camera 2 had some sort of malfunction and the display read that the SD card was locked. It was not locked and there were no pics. It is too bad since the other camera indicates he went right by it to enter the feeding area.
Camera 3 had 6 photos of the bear. In the first three shot burst the bear never moved. He just stared at the camera. The second three shot burst had him mouth the camera, move passed the camera and then come back to mouth the camera and knock it off kilter.

Here is how I found camera 3.

And here is a partial pic of a deer that it took a couple days later.
