HuntWA 2010 Bear Hunting Poll
« on: August 04, 2010, 07:14:07 PM »
Ok guys. It is that time again. Here is the 2010 HuntWA bear poll. There are a lot of bears hitting the ground already so make sure to mark it in the poll.

I am curious how many Washington bears have been taken in 2010 by members and how many are first time bear hunters.

You will be allowed to vote up to 5 times if needed.
For example:
A vote for killing a bear/or two bears yourself.
A vote if it was your first bear ever.
A vote if it/or one was a spring bear
A vote if your friend (non site member) killed a bear
A vote if a friend/or another friend (non site member) killed two bears.

You may change your vote if you need to.

Please, no photos in this thread.

Here are links to past HuntWa bear polls.

On Monday, two guys I work with each took one.  One bear was taken Monday Morning and the second was taken that evening in the same clear cut.  Both were about 180lbs.

I'm sure as the bears drop and folks are submitting there online reports, they'll put in a vote.  I'm not sure how many times one can vote?  I don't want to put in that two of my buddies drop there's and not be able to vote that I have one down later  :chuckle:.

Although I have not hinted bears for a while and not this year but it still gets me going. I killed a bear some years ago first time me and my friend who I spent a  lot of time talking him into hunting got this one he was nine years old. From what I know that is pretty old for a bear so cool hope you guys do good.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I hunted hard, I hunted long, but no dice!  It was just not in the works for me this year.  Not sure if I'll put in for Spring bear next year for i heavly lack time in the spring, but I'm already excited for next years bear season!!  Congrats to all who punched a tag!  I've read many of your stories and view many of your pics, good job guys, the bears were falling this year, just not to my hands.

Well, in the end, I only got my first bear.  Should have had two others before I killed mine.  Didn't reach my goal of seeing 50 bears this year though, came up 4 short.
