LR Accubond in hand!
« on: April 23, 2013, 08:20:58 PM »
i got my order of 210 grain long range accubonds in today.

took some pictures and measurements (best i could without fancy measuring devices.

one thing to note is that these have a longer bearing surface than 210 VLD i believe.

bearing surface measurements... as precise as i could get...

210 LRAB= 0.597
210 VLD= 0.573
215 HYBRID= 0.545

one thing i notice is the very long boattail compared to the original accubond, also the sharp transition from bearing to boattail.

the pics compare 210 vld, 210 hybrid, and LRAB 210.
the one with another accubond is a 7mm 140 grain to compare shape.

What powder/charge are you going to load up? Been contemplating finding some to order.
