Anywhere to Camp over by Raymond for Elk Hunting?
« on: October 17, 2014, 11:58:37 AM »
Hi I want to thank you for all the folks getting back to me and letting me know where to hunt over here in Raymond. However I'm looking for a area to Camp for Modern Elk Hunt. I'll buy my $65.00 permit for Raynior land if I need too. Anyone recommend areas to camp in over there? I haven't taken the drive to go out and look yet but if anyone could let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

I slept in my truck on some state land just off a road... Bathrooms and showers??? My truck still has a funny smell to it though. A camp ground might be nice.

KOA in Bay Center is a great place, owned by avid hunters, great little store on site, showers, completely covered.
