Gotcha.I think it is safe to say with those numbers that there is less than 500 hunters that applied for quality elk last year that had 16 or more points.833 times points 16 and above came up,subtract the 162 hunters that points option only leaves 671,safely divide that by the 2 choices gives us around 335,add the 162 back on and we have around 500,Figure in the possible group hunt apps and it would likely be less than 500.Any disagree with that?

You could also have a group of people that had 19 points in 2013 (maybe bonus) that didn't apply in 2014, but would in 2015.  So, there could be some stragglers unaccounted for if trying to figure the pool for this year.
agreed, but i still think we are relatively close.

probably close to 500--I just added the application-point numbers and subtracted the extras that were assumed group.  Bobcat or Bob33 probably know the exact number.

so with around 100 probable max points without any bonus, wouldnt that be around .333% of the hunters that applied for Quality elk to have max points?Im not the greatest at math so.Anyone disagree with any of my math?

Five for Q Elk and zero for Q Deer (just got drawn).
