Special permit points

I'm sure this has been asked and answered more than once , but here it goes again . I talked to a friend of my today and asked if he got drawn for a spring bear , he said no but could not under stand why it said he did not have any points . Then I asked him if he put in or did he just buy the app. He said " you mean I just don't buy it " . My reply was " how do they know what unit you want ". I know he has bought apps. the last couple years but I'm not sure if he put in for anything so if you don't actually put in for a permit do you get points or are you just donating to the WDFW ?

You have to still log on and apply for your unit or apply for points option! Soo he most likely has been just donating his money..

He needs to call them, if it shows he bought the permit but never applied they might give him the points? Worth a try
