The most highly used/sold pump shotgun in the world is a jammer? I highly doubt it. I've put over 50,000 rods thru a few of them without a hitch.

To be fair, some of the new 870's are jammers.

The issue is some machining marks left in the breech.  Google it and you can see.

I bought 3 new 870s for my sons last year.   A little polishing and they are good to go.....   Thank you, you tube.

My 870 jams so much I won't even try to use it. More than 50% of the time.

I bet your fringing them with a weak pattern.   :dunno:  A few shots at a pattern board will tell you.
