Cube the steaks into little 1 inch squares. Marinade in Safeway select sesame ginger teriyaki merinade and sprinkle some Montreal steak seasoning in with the marinade. Dice up onions and mini bell peppers into the same size squares as the meat. Make kabobs, grille over charcoal

Tagging along but I did do my back straps like spare ribs.  CArolina marinade for 24 hrs and BBQ'd over indirect Hickory lump coal. Was awesome. So far I've only done that and sausage. May be thawing a roast this weekend.

I have had it stripped and stir fried with vegies wich was delicious.  I also pressure cooked a roast with taters and carrots.....again delicious.  Breakfast sausage and pepperoni also are fantastic.

I really need to try it corned...sounds delicious.

My favorite stew meat.  Dredge in seasoned flour, brown, and into the crock pot with the deglazed browning oil.  I like to use V-8 or beer instead of water for my stock.  It has a unique texture that is just perfect for stews.  I also make a hot Italian bulk sausage, again it has a texture that can't be beat.  My son would rather eat bear than deer or elk.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

We like bear roasts in the crockpot covered with salsa, or in stew. Can someone post a link to the corned bear recipe?

Umm, steaks ? Ground for burger stuff ? Took a smoked roast to elk camp once, sliced it into 1" slabs, a bit of tenderizer, Lowrey's and Montreal steak seasoning and onto the bbq I dig into the ground. So many more uses than just sausage. After reading the other thread on bear meat I may try for a spring permit next year.
