Looking in to Hunting up North. Is GMU 108 Douglas a lot of Private Land?

Check out OnX maps (https://www.onxmaps.com/). It's like google maps for hunting. I would say 108 is around 85% private. While to the east 111 is probably about 75% public.

Hunt a different unit would be my thoughts. Why do you choose the 108 ?

I have lived and hunted GMU 108 my entire life and I will tell you that the ungulate population is on a ALL TIME LOW!  Too many predators that are going unchecked.  With that being said there is National Forest and private timber land in 108 that has great hunting opportunities if you can find the game.
