is that the flash wildview camera that is 49.95 at cableas

I'm not sure. I see one for $59.95 on Cabelas website, and it is similar but the Cabelas one is 2 megapixels and mine is 5. It's called the "Xtreme 5". I actually only paid about $25 for mine, it was on ebay and was a refurbished model.

If you're interested in one of the 2 megapixel Wildview's you can get them for $39.95 here:

I'm wanting to pattern the bobcat, but not having much luck with that. I re-baited with 6 duck carcasses on Monday, and just checked it this morning and it hasn't been touched. If the bobcat would start showing up regularly, then I would try to call it in. But maybe it will start coming around more often. We still have over two months until bobcat season ends.

I did get some action at the other camera which is about 1/4 mile away. A coyote got the elk hide down from the tree and drug it off. I had it tied with parachute cord.

I think I may have a good chance of getting this coyote:

Well I FINALLY got some more pictures of the bobcat, and I thought instead of starting a new thread I'll just add to this one. It's been 6 weeks since the last time and I was really pleased that I got a lot more photos this time, 112 photos of the bobcat, last time I only got 6. This time it was at the other site which is about 1/4 mile away, and so far in the last 2 months I had only gotten a coyote at this location.

I re-baited it with an elk hide with head attached and the four lower legs which I tied together, and tied to the tree, about two weeks ago. Plus I had some of the organs which I placed on the ground at the base of the tree, and covered with tree limbs so birds couldn't get at it too easily. A coyote did come by once but didn't touch anything, I just got one picture of him. Then the cat came by a couple days later and really tore into everything.

The first picture was this last Wednesday in the afternoon and the last picture at 8:15 this morning. I dropped off a half dozen goose carcasses and I expect the cat will be back tonight for that, plus the elk hide is still tied to the tree and that should keep the cat busy for a while. I now wish I would have tied the goose carcasses all together and then tied it to the tree. I may go back tomorrow afternoon and do that if they are still there.

Great photos, good luck  I had close to the same thing happen last winter with a bobcat coming into my camera, problem was it didn't hold to a set time of day,or night, almost like it purposely broke up its visits, I finally ran out of time, I had pictures of him a few more times during last falls hunts and now my camera died so :bash:
good idea using the elk hide.

PS: try tying up your geese in a tree so the cat has to climb up and reach out to get at the bird.

Yeah I may actually have to try to hunt this cat now that it's showing up on a regular basis. It's been there every day for the last four days. Still have about 6 weeks till the season's over.
