Sako Finnlight
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:32:20 PM »
Anybody have any experience with the Sako 85 Finnlight in 270. The one I looked at today has the stainless fluted barrel with the composite stock. Looks like a very high quality rifle.

You can't go wrong with a sako. They are a very nice gun. I have shot them but not in the 270 win. I had it down to the a7 and the finnlight and went with the a7 in 270wsm because of the killer deal I got on it. The sako rifles are about as good as it gets

I had a dud. I bought it from a small time dealer. If you buy one, be sure it is from an authorized dealer and not used. My experience was enough to make me hate sako.

I have Finlight in 300 Win Mag, it's a shooter! The trigger is awesome.
Only draw back is the extra mags are expensive. I believe I paid $70 a piece for them.
I love this rifle, you will not be disappointed.

Alchase,  Where did you pick up your extra mags at? I have the Tikka T3 lite in the 300 WSM and can't find one in stock anywhere.

I odered them from the Sako/Baretta

http://www.berettausa.com/shop-by-department/big-game-hunter/accessories/rifle-magazines/

Their prices have gone way up, you might be able to find them cheaper somewhere else.

Thanx for the heads up on the magazines Alchase. I'd almost given up looking so it's good to know they can be found. I'm ordering a couple tomorrow.
