Right to Hunt Amendments
« on: June 27, 2012, 02:27:06 PM »
Three states are putting their Right to Hunt Amendments up in this years election. Nebraska, Idaho and Kentucky. Twelve so far have already amended and It's been in Vermont's constitution since 1777. If we want to gain our rights to hunt fish and trap we need to keep up the dialog! I think the WFW is a great place to start. If you are interested get with me and I will start a contact list and volunteer to represent the WWA, (if they wish).

We absolutely need to keep the dialog going on this.  It will be a long term goal, but we can do it if we all work together.  A key component is getting the right people into the legislature and being prepared for the onslaught of emotionally based propaganda that will be disseminated by anti-hunting groups.

A similar measure FAILED in Arizona last year. Don't want to discourage but it can be a tough sell on even a conservative state. Good luck with Seattle.... Home to a statute of Vladimir Illyich Lenin.

This is a great article written by a former anti-hunter.  She moved from Manhattan to rural Oregon about eight-years ago and eventually became knowledgeable about the facts pertaining to hunting versus being brainwashed by the emotionally based propaganda disseminated by the anti-hunting groups.  It’s a good article that hunters and anti-hunters should read.  It gives further support to why hunting and fishing should be Constitutional rights to prevent extremist anti-hunting groups from pushing their unjust and emotionally driven anti-hunting agendas on all of us.
