gonna give the rogue another shot
« on: June 28, 2012, 08:35:53 PM »
After going down to the rogue river in southern Oregon last year and being unsuccessful. I thought we might do things a little  different this year. I hired a guide. Its my first guided trip every so I'm very excited for it. I'm going witharlie "steelhead" brown. He seems to be a bit of a legend down there.  IM fishing on Monday and I can not wait. Taking my beautiful girlfriend along with me. She is just as excited as I am.

That river is awesome.  I went to college down there and my buddy had a cabin on the river.  That is where I learned to fly fish and caught my first Steele.  You will have a blast.  Make sure you take tons of pics because it is beautiful down there, plus there are a ton of bears too.
