best way to carry a bow when rideing a mountian bike

i have a black creek jim horn series pack. just wondering what the best way to carry a bow when mountian bikeing in to different areas.
Member of the NRA,GOA and Washington For Wildlife.NWTF member, delta waterfowl,NWTF Disabled US NAVY Veteran 6/2/90 to 6/2/99 3 Good Conduct Medals, and 3 Honorable Discharges, 1 chesapeake bay retriever tikka 6.5 creedmor,Remington 300 ULTRAMAG, GLOCK 22. Elk,Deer and upland birds and love Fishing

Indian style standing up no hands with the bow drawn!! :archery_smiley:
they call me the bloodhound cause i can track a wounded animal in the rain for 2 days when all it has is a splinter.. sniff sniff awooo

Well when biking in to hunt I would definitely suggest a pack that has the bow carrying ability. I know some of the Elberstock have that also.

I use a bow rack on my handlebars ... works with my rifle and muzzy too!   :tup:

I would use a pack.  I have been known to crash a time or two and never liked the idea of crashing with a bunch of broadheads in front of me.   :bdid:

My favorite way is on my pack. Tried it on the handlebars and the gravel roads shake it so bad its always got me worried something gonna get shaken loose, plus it just makes it a little more akward to ride the bike. My eberlestock holds it well.

I have a primos bow sling that I use, it works ok but i would like it to be secured to me better! I am going to get a pack that holds my bow.
