It's a bay off of a channel.  Current isn't that strong.  Swam in that water many times.

Well, good luck and be safe all the same. However, without pics I don't think I'm going to be able to believe it. So, please have somebody on shore snapping some action photos!

Thursday and Friday will be warm enough at a high tide that I think I'll swim my dock pot out about 200' from the dock and then swim back and see how I do then.  I can only throw the thing about 25' out so maybe I'll have better results by swimming it deeper.  Damnit I need a dinghy.

I know a guy with a dinghy for sale.

This guy is pretty flexible on price, and will consider pretty much anything in trade!   :hello:

Looking forward to it.

Now....regarding the Pautzes FUEL.........

Got home from the gym and layed out about 100 paper towels and prepared my turkey legs, FUEL, and injector. Worked pretty well. I just stuck it about 100 times with a little shot each time. It would leak out a bit but if I was able to find a natural vein in the leg it would take a pretty good volume before leaking out. I did this for two legs and have them bagged up and soaking. The third turkey leg I simply sliced like I normall would prior to placing in the pot. Dropped it in a bag, dumped in some juice, and will let that one marinate as well. I think the slice and soak will get a better "brine" then the injected ones. We'll see. Finally.......I grabbed the bag of chicken that has been frozen, thawed, in the sun, repeat...at least twice. It is also now marinating. Now just have to wait until Saturday to drop the pots and see if it helps at all.

Anyone other than Skillet (already talked to him) going out Saturday and going to be in the greater 8-2 area?

I'm heading out today, I have 2 empty seats in the boat.  If anyone is interested let me know!  I will probably be at the Everett launch at around 230-300.
