I'm after my first this year.  Still pretty much in the dark after 2 years of chasing them.  Sooner or later I'll get one

30 days from today, yeah buddy. I sure hope my ankle is better by then. I have an MRI scheduled for tomorrow so I hope to know something soon. I'm really bummed about this injury, because I had a couple of area's that I wanted to keep an eye on after spring bear season ended. I know where a couple hung out. Anyway, I hope to see you out in the woods in a month or so.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Same here. My hunting buddy and I chased them last August before he took off for deployment. We're excited to get back out after 'em. But still have a lot of learning to do.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

I can't wait, sucks I can't hunt my wilderness spots till the 15th tho. I stick to the coast the first two weeks, but I have yet to see a damn bear in season on the coast :bash:. High country bears is one of my favorite hunting
