Faded game mounts
«

I have a mount that is getting lighter as time goes by. It used to be black, but is turning to blond. Are there methods available to dye or color the fur close to the original color? Has anyone had this done? Happy with results?

Not sure how to reverse it, but by keeping it out of direct sunlight as much as possible you reduce the likely hood of it happening.

You can have the mount cleaned and re-colored if need be. I had a friend that had a few of his dads old mounts cleaned up that had faded and cracked. Just takes money.

You have to keep them out of direct sunlight, I have a few that have done the same thing over the years.
