Have not tried out that combo.... however handloaded 180 gr. Accubonds are shooting 3/4 MOA at 400 yards out of my brothers BAR...

I shot them out of my 300WM behind 73 grns of H4831 and they were outstanding.   Lotsa groups in the .1's and .2's at 100.   Some sub 2" groups at 600, a 4.5" group at 1090.

I shot the 168's VLD and at 437 yds they're burning through a 5/16" steel gong. Good grouping at that range. I've got 3 elk and 1 mule deer (592 yds), all 1 shot apiece. I love them in my Tika 300 WSM!

I shoot the 185 VLDs out of my 300 WSM.. Its a Weatherby Vanguard (Howa) Sub MOA rifle.. I use Norma Brass, H4831 and get great results to about 2800 FPS.

Huntbear, I'm using the Hunting Shack ammo with the Berger VLD's that I buy from the Long Range store on the internet. They have been good to me for the past few years. I used to use the Winchester XP3's but the VLD's are about $10 cheaper and shoot better groups out of my gun.
