Mega Gator Lower Trigger Replacement
« on: July 17, 2012, 11:20:49 AM »
I just purchased a Mega Gator lower for my AR and do not like the trigger.  Any suggestions on what to replace it with ?  I only use it for Predator Hunting so it does not need to be super top of the line...

For outright quality and performance I like the Jewell AR triggers but for a varmint/calling AR it's hard to beat a RockRiver 2 stage. The two stage is great when it comes to wearing gloves and pulling leeds on running dogs. Of course it isn't as sexy as the Jewell but is way more robust when it comes to field use, dust and dirt will affect a Jewell in a hurry, I am constantly cleaning them with lighter fluid. The Rock river two stage is pretty much bullet proof and about half the cost of the Jewell.

Congrats on the Mega lower, quality stuff!

RRA 2 stage is hard to beat.

:yeah:  That's what I've got on all my lowers.  Simple 2-piece design.  Light and crisp.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
