Forum members,

We are quickly approaching the 1 year anniversary of one of the many tragic yet heroic stories since 9/11.  On The 6th of August 2011, a Chinook helicopter carrying 30 members of our armed forces, 22 being members of the US Navy Development Group based in Dam Neck, VA. was shot down in Afghanistan by an enemy RPG.  There were no survivors.  Although there's nothing we can do to change what happened, we can help with some financial support to the NSWFF.  As a side note, the NSWFF is one of the only foundations I know that gives literally 100% of every penny taken in to SEaLs and their families.  No building rent, no office staff, and no administration fees.  $1 in, $1 goes out.

In memory of this event, we would like to auction a TKO goose call and a Fat Brother duck call as a set.  100% of all proceeds from this auction will go to the Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation based in San Diego, CA in the name of Hunt Washington and the auction winner.

Each call will be engraved:

8-6-11
Never Forget

We will start the auction at 12:01am pst on 8/6 and it will run for 5 days, ending 8/11 at 12:00am pst.

Thanks in advance for your participation.  The work they do is unfathomable and the cause is vitally important.

Christian

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
