In the old days when we could hike, my wife would pack up carrots wrapped in wet paper sacks and some sorta crackers. It was very tasty.

bet those carrots would taste better if they were wrapped in ham.  :twocents:  paper bags leave a bad after taste

...........oh no, my wife used organic paper sacks  :chuckle: and actually, there was no funny pulp taste....

organic with no taste?  does that mean you chowed down on the bag to? :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

 :chuckle:

They had organic bags "In the old days when we could hike"?

Yes, and only in my wifes world............ :chuckle: It did make a good stool stiffner !!!  :chuckle:

Backpacking my favorite is Mtn House Lasagna for packaged meals.

Mashed potatoes and grouse for fresh meat meals.  I used to take a bundle of Asparagus just for that first grouse meal - Mmmm Yummy.

Drive to hunting camp my favorite is Hebrew Nat. chili dogs with Tillamook cheese and Walla Walla sweets.  Ben & Jerry's Carmelsutra icecream for desert.

Man!  My night to cook dinner.  I think I'm going to the store for some dogs and chili :chuckle:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
