Dokkens shed dog training dvd
« on: July 11, 2012, 01:23:13 PM »
Has anyone here seen/bought this DVD? http://sheddogtrainer.com/shed-dog-training-dvd.htm  If so, any opinions on whether it is worthwhile? . I had a dog that would pick up sheds while in the woods and bring them to me, but I never trained him, other than throwing sheds for him to retrieve. I know dogs can be a great asset when shed hunting, but don't know if this vid would be worthwhile.

Thanks in advance,

Blackjaw

If you have a dog that will pick up sheds while in the woods and bring them to you, you already have a shed hunting dog that doesn't need much additional training. Congratulations!

I have this DVD also. It could be better, but since this is about the only shed hunting DVD available, I think it's worth while even if you only get a couple helpful tips out of it.
