i will tell ya what wraithen, if you kill somethn let me know and i will come over and teach you how to cut up your animal, its pretty simple, elk is a little time consuming but i can cut up an elk by myself in 4 to 5 hours and that is hangn to the freezer, i live in graham so you aint to far away and doug the guy i take my meat to and i beleive huntnphool does to then all ya gotta do is chunk up what meat you want processed and put it in 20 lb bags and bring it to him, he makes awesome jalepeno cheddar summer sausage and awesome peperoni and terryaki pep, and awesome burger at a great price, he donates alot of time to challenged kids as well and he processes their meat as well, just let me know if your interested

You don't really have to hang them.  My dad's cow elk last year was killed in August and we just cut it up the next day and the meat is great. :twocents:

:yeah: done that to with bear in august and it works fine to, a guy likes to hang them but when its hot ya gotta save the meat and it still eats just fine  :tup:

take a 15 minute drive and go to double T meats in Eatonville, best prices and best quality work I have found any where around here.

I need dougs number,he did well on a bear for me when Mt view caught fire..I will use doug,and might try the one in eatonville..to many bad reports on stewarts for me to use them.

if you want me to pm it to you i can, doug lives a smidge off 224th ya take a left at the light past the tracks as your headed to bethel and its about a mile or so down on the right hand side in a nice but older housing development

I 2nd and 3rd Doug! He did my spring Bear, pepperoni, summer sausage and brauts. All very tasty! His pepperoni is by far and away the best I have had.
He is reasonable too! And a great guy, I bring him what I can for processing, I do the rest myself if I have the time for it.

I also have had some of the stuff from Zach at Rainier taxidermy, in fact I helped with a bunch of buffalo breakfast sausage he was making a few years back, great stuff!
